AtΒ Lace & Grit, every item is made to order with care. Because our products are produced individually for each customer, many items are considered final sale. However, we always stand behind the quality of your order and will work with you if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Please read the policy below before requesting a return, replacement, remake, or refund.
Contact Us Before Returning an Item
Please contact us before mailing any item back. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
To request assistance, email support@laceandgrit.com and include your order number and a brief explanation of the issue.
Please do not send an item directly to the manufacturer or production partner.
Made-to-Order and Final-Sale Items
Because our products are created specifically for each order, the following items are generally considered final sale and are not eligible for return due to preference, sizing selection, change of mind, or buyerβs remorse:
- Journals
- Decorative pillows
- Woven blankets and throws
- Glass art
- Metal wall art
- Kitchen backsplash panels
- Personalized or customized products
- Any product identified as final sale on its product page
Final-sale items remain eligible for assistance if they arrive damaged, defective, incorrectly produced, or materially different from the item ordered.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the item and packaging
- A brief description of the problem
Once the issue has been reviewed and approved, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, remake, store credit, or refund.
In many cases, a physical return will not be required. Please do not ship the item back unless we specifically provide return instructions.
Eligible Returns
If an item is not designated as made to order, personalized, custom, or final sale, you may request authorization to return it within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unworn, undamaged, and returned in its original condition and packaging.
Unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law.
We will provide the appropriate return address after the return request has been approved.
Remake Requests
Requests for a remake for reasons unrelated to damage, defect, or production error may be considered at the sole discretion of Lace & Grit within 30 days of delivery.
Approval is not guaranteed and may require an additional fee depending on the circumstances and product type.
If a remake is approved, we will explain the available options and confirm any applicable charge before production begins. A physical return is not required unless specifically requested by our team.
Personalized and Custom Orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing all personalization details, spelling, names, dates, initials, sizes, colors, and other selections before submitting an order.
We are unable to provide a free replacement or refund for errors entered or approved by the customer.
If Lace & Grit or one of our production partners makes an error in the personalization or production of your item, please contact us and we will make it right.
Printed Texture and Color Variations
Some Lace & Grit designs feature artistic visual effects such as:
- Quilted-look details
- Embossed-look details
- Beaded-look details
- Embroidery-look details
- Layered or dimensional-looking artwork
These effects are printed as part of the artwork and are not physical textures unless expressly stated in the product description.
Colors may vary slightly between computer or mobile screens and the finished product due to individual display settings, materials, and printing processes. Minor color variations are not considered defects.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit-card provider to process and post the refund.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise required by law.
Cancellations and Order Changes
Because production may begin shortly after an order is placed, cancellation or modification requests must be submitted as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be canceled or changed once production has begun.
